Shams Azar Qazvin 1–2 Aluminium Arak

M. Mahdavi delivered the Persian Gulf Pro League's standout individual performance of the young season, completing a hat-trick to hand Aluminium Arak a 2-1 victory at Shams Azar Qazvin. The Aluminium striker struck twice in three second-half minutes, at 28 and 31, to put the visitors firmly in control before adding a third in the 82nd. Shams Azar refused to go quietly: M. Khalifeh trimmed the deficit right on the stroke of half-time, and A. A. Chegini made it 2-1 in the 89th to give the hosts — who are winless through two Persian Gulf Pro League games this term — a frantic final minute. It wasn't enough. Aluminium, who had only drawn their previous meeting with Shams Azar Qazvin, now sit fourth with four points and look every bit a top-half side. Watch Mahdavi's third, the goal that sealed it with eight minutes left and made all that late Qazvin pressure irrelevant.
