Match Recap
Osmaneli Belediyespor held firm for eighty-five minutes of this Türkiye Kupası tie, and then it all unraveled in the final action of the match. Y. Ozdemir stepped up in the 86th minute to snatch a 1-0 win for Anadolu Üniversitesi, the kind of late strike that swings a whole tie on a single kick. There was nothing scrappy about the timing: with the clock almost gone and a scoreless draw looking set, Ozdemir found the finish that mattered most. He isn't the name defenders circle on a scouting report, not with M. Diarra sitting atop the league's scoring charts on five goals, but on this occasion the moment found the man anyway. Osmaneli Belediyespor never got the chance to respond, and Anadolu Üniversitesi rode the goal all the way to the final whistle. Cup ties turn on moments exactly like this one. See how Ozdemir's 86th-minute winner actually came together, touch by touch, in the highlights below.
