Sumqayıt 2–1 Araz

Sumqayıt needed a second-half turnaround to beat Araz, and they got exactly that. A. Fernandez had put Araz ahead in the 32nd minute, but Sumqayıt flipped the script after the break: R. Vasquez leveled things in the 62nd, and N. Ahmadzada struck again in the 82nd to seal a 2-1 comeback win in Premyer Liqa. It's a result Sumqayıt badly needed — they move to 5 points from 5 games, while Araz stay bottom-of-the-table adrift on just 2, still without a win this season. Head-to-head, Sumqayıt now level their recent series with Araz at one win apiece from two meetings, a small psychological edge after Fernandez's early strike looked like it might settle things. Neither side has a scorer anywhere near J. Mickels and his 18-goal haul atop the league, but Ahmadzada's late winner didn't need a big name attached to matter. Watch how Sumqayıt claw back from behind and nail the 82nd-minute winner that turned the game on its head.
