Vaprus 1–2 Flora Tallinn

Flora Tallinn made the trip to Pärnu look comfortable for much of this Meistriliiga fixture, with M. Kukkonen and O. Pihela striking in quick succession either side of the half-hour mark to put the visitors firmly in control. Kukkonen opened the scoring in the 29th minute, and Pihela doubled the lead just seven minutes later, leaving Vaprus with a steep climb in the second half. S. Viidas gave the hosts a lifeline in the 71st minute, but Flora held firm to claim all three points and extend their strong recent run to three wins from their last five outings, moving to 39 points. Vaprus, sitting seventh on 27 points and winless in both previous meetings with this opponent, could not find the equaliser despite the late pressure. Pihela's cool finish in the 36th minute was the decisive moment that settled this one, and it's worth watching just to see how completely Flora shut Vaprus out after that.
