Match Recap
Cobán Imperial let a one-goal lead slip in the final quarter-hour as Comunicaciones struck back through N. Garcia in the 81st minute to earn a 2-2 draw in the Liga Nacional. The home side had looked set to add to their strong record against this opponent, with Janderson, fourth among the league's top scorers with 12 goals, leveling shortly after the break before S. Teni put Cobán ahead in the 77th. Comunicaciones had opened the scoring through K. Espino on the half-hour, making this a match that swung four times in roughly fifty minutes. Cobán now hold two wins from three Liga Nacional meetings with Comunicaciones, but this one slipped away in the space of four second-half minutes. Garcia's late equalizer, arriving with barely nine minutes left, is exactly the kind of finish that demands a second look.
