Match Recap
Gabriel Barbosa did it twice, and Santos did the rest, turning a Sao Paulo lead into a road win in the Serie A derby. Luciano put the hosts up 1-0 in the 34th, but Barbosa answered two minutes later and struck again in the 54th to flip the scoreboard for good, finishing 2-1. The double keeps Santos rolling: five straight without defeat and now eighth on 38 points, while Sao Paulo slip to 11th despite sitting on 36 of their own, their form card stuck at three wins in five. History leaned their way too, Sao Paulo winless in two recent meetings with this opponent. Luciano's goal still counts for something bigger picture, it's his 18th of the season and keeps him inside Serie A's top ten scorers, miles off leader Kaio Jorge's 24 but proof he's not done either. For Santos, this was about answering immediately and finishing the job. Watch how Barbosa turns a one-goal deficit into his own show in under twenty minutes, then watch him do it again to seal it.
