Araz 0–2 Kapaz

Kapaz did their business on the road at Araz, and the league table tells you why nobody at Araz should be surprised. Benito put the visitors ahead in the 31st minute, and R. Haciyev sealed it with a second deep into the closing stages, in the 86th, to make it 2-0 in Premyer Liqa. Araz sit 12th with just two points from five games and a five-match run reading LDLLL, winless all season, while Kapaz's own form is patchy (DWLWL) but still good enough to climb to 7th on seven points. History offered no hope either: Araz have lost both of their last meetings with Kapaz, and this result extends that run to a perfect record for the visitors head-to-head. Neither side has a scorer among the league's top ten, where J. Mickels leads the way on 18, but Benito and Haciyev did the job that mattered on the day. Catch both goals, including that late Haciyev strike that put the result beyond doubt, in the highlights below.
