Match Recap
Anorthosis led at the break but had nothing left to answer once Pafos flipped the game in three frantic second-half minutes. Alessio Da Cruz's 42nd-minute strike put the home side in front, only for Yoram Zague to level four minutes after the restart, and Leanderson da Silva Genésio then struck twice, in the 48th and 57th minutes, turning a one-goal deficit into a 3-1 away win. The result lines up with where both sides sit in the 1. Division table: Pafos are second with 10 points and a WLWDW run, while Anorthosis sink further into 13th after four losses in five. Anorthosis still haven't beaten Pafos in their last two meetings, both draws, and this collapse only deepens that pattern. Leanderson's brace is the obvious headline, but it's the eight-minute spell either side of halftime, Da Cruz's goal undone twice over, that makes this one worth watching from the restart.
