Match Recap
Helmond Sport and Heracles shared the points after a four-goal thriller that swung back and forth all afternoon. Heracles striker Maurice Wrusch set the tone inside six minutes, only for Tarik Essakkati to level things up for Helmond Sport seven minutes later. Manny Rodriguez Baldera restored the visitors' lead right before the break, but Sem Dekkers pulled Helmond Sport level again just after the hour. The result tells two very different stories in the Eerste Divisie table: Heracles sit top with 21 points from five games and arrive on a four-match winning run, while Helmond Sport remain down in 14th after a stretch of just two wins in five. For the league leaders, dropping points at Helmond Sport snaps the momentum of that form, even if the top spot stays theirs for now. Four goals, two fightbacks and a share of the spoils, watch how Dekkers' leveler in the second half kept Helmond Sport's afternoon from turning into a repeat of their recent slump.
