Match Recap
Marten Winkler needed just six minutes to turn a routine lead into a rout, striking twice in the 48th and 54th to put Zulte Waregem away for good. Anderlecht had already broken the deadlock through Tawfik Bentayeb, who scored right on the stroke of halftime, and by full time the Jupiler Pro League fixture had become a one-sided demolition, 3-0. It extends Anderlecht's perfect record against these opponents, having won their only previous meeting too. In the table, Zulte Waregem sit fifth on 11 points and Anderlecht seventh on 10, standings that gave no hint of the gap on display here. None of this match's scorers ranks among the league's top ten, where N. Tresoldi still leads the way on 18, but Winkler's burst proved decisive on its own. Catch both of his strikes, six minutes apart, in the highlights below.
