Match Recap
Two Milan-born strikers turned this into a personal duel, and neither would blink. M. Kone struck twice for AS Roma inside the first half, in the 6th and 37th minutes, to put the hosts firmly in control at the Stadio Olimpico. Inter needed a response and got it from Lautaro Martinez, who leveled things with goals in the 46th and 79th minutes to snatch a share of the points. The 2-2 draw leaves both Serie A heavyweights level on 13 points, with Roma just ahead on goal difference at the top of the table and Inter tucked in second, both riding unbeaten form into this one. It fits a pattern too: Roma remain winless against Inter in their last two meetings, and this result continues that trend rather than breaking it. With D. Malen still out in front as the league's top scorer, Kone and Martinez served notice they can go toe-to-toe with anyone. Watch how Kone's early double nearly buried Inter, and how Martinez answered minute for minute to drag his side level.
