Match Recap
Jordi Sánchez's 26th-minute strike had Pogon Szczecin dreaming of an away win at Piast Gliwice, and Samuel Ntamack Ndimba's leveler three minutes later barely slowed them down: Darko Churlinov settled it in the 57th minute, sending Pogon Szczecin to a 2-1 victory in Ekstraklasa. It's a result Piast Gliwice know all too well against this opponent, having failed to beat Pogon Szczecin in either of their last two meetings. The table tells a tight story too, Piast sitting seventh on 13 points with Pogon just behind in eighth on 12, barely separated going into this one. None of the three scorers sit anywhere near the Ekstraklasa's scoring charts, where K. Czubak still leads with 24, which only makes Churlinov's decisive finish more worth catching. Watch him ghost into the box in the 57th minute and break Piast's resistance for good.
