Match Recap
Bottom-half Chico produced the shock of the Primera A weekend, taking apart third-placed Deportivo Pasto 3-0 in a one-sided demolition nobody saw coming. The hosts arrived 18th with only two wins in five matches, yet they needed just eighteen second-half minutes to bury Pasto's superior form: Yesus Cabrera broke the deadlock in the 68th minute, E. Sarria doubled the lead two minutes later, and A. Maya added the exclamation point in the 86th. Pasto had won the only previous meeting between these two, so tonight rewrites that history completely. League scoring leader H. Rodallega, with 18 goals, wasn't on the pitch, and none of Chico's three scorers currently sit among the division's top ten, proof this rout came from nowhere in particular. Three goals in eighteen minutes flipped the form book on its head, catch Cabrera's opener and the avalanche that followed in the highlights.
