Match Recap
Rodrigo Vilca saved Comerciantes Unidos from defeat with an equalizer in the 89th minute, snatching a point right as the clock was running out against Juan Pablo II College in Primera División. Pablo Miguez had put the visitors ahead on the hour mark, in the 63rd minute, and looked set to send them home with all three points given the gulf in current form, Juan Pablo II arriving on a five-game run of WWDWW against a Comerciantes side stuck on LLDLW. The table backs that up too: Juan Pablo II sit 12th with 34 points and four wins from five, while Comerciantes are down in 14th with just one win in the same span. It's also the second time these two sides have drawn in as many meetings, so a share of the spoils fits the recent pattern between them. Still, Vilca's late strike will sting Juan Pablo II more than it pleases Comerciantes. Watch exactly how the 89th-minute equalizer unfolds in the highlights below.
