Match Recap
L. Romanic snatched a dramatic point for Kawasaki Frontale with a 90+6th-minute equalizer to deny Tokyo Verdy a home victory in the J1 League. S. Mizoguchi broke the deadlock immediately after halftime, firing host Tokyo Verdy ahead in the 46th minute. That goal put ninth-ranked Tokyo Verdy on course to improve their recent record against eleventh-ranked Kawasaki Frontale, having won just one of their previous three meetings alongside two losses. Tokyo Verdy held that lead late into stoppage time, but the visitors kept pushing. Romanic finally found the net deep in added time to secure a 1-1 draw. While neither team matched J1 League top scorer Léo Ceará and his 27 goals, this clash provided pure final-minute drama. Watch L. Romanic strike in the 90+6th minute to rescue a point in the highlights below.
