Match Recap
Molde controlled Eliteserien proceedings from start to finish at Aker Stadion, with Oskar Spiten Nysaeter breaking the deadlock in the 37th minute and Trent Kone-Doherty putting the game to bed in the 73rd to seal a comfortable 2-0 win over KFUM Oslo. The victory lifts Molde to 33 points in fourth place, three wins from their last five, while KFUM Oslo remain in 13th on 19. The visitors had strung together back-to-back wins heading into this fixture, but that momentum found no foothold against a Molde side that has now won every competitive meeting between the two clubs. With Eliteserien's leading scorer Amin Chiakha already on 11 goals, neither Nysaeter nor Kone-Doherty sits among the division's top ten, but both made their case on the night. Kone-Doherty's 73rd-minute finish, the goal that put the result beyond any doubt, is the one you'll want to pull up in the highlights.
