Match Recap
Trabzonspor thought they had pocketed a comfortable road win after Nicolás Saviolo slotted home on 43 minutes and A. Benedyczak made it two in the 55th, but Kasimpasa clawed back to share the spoils in a 1-1 Süper Lig draw at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium. Benedyczak's goal was his 11th of the campaign, placing him fifth among the division's top scorers at a time when league leader P. Onuachu leads with 15, and his clinical finish had given Trabzonspor every reason to expect more than a point. The result puts both sides level on one point after one game of the new Süper Lig season, though Kasimpasa's lone previous meeting with this opponent ended in defeat, so a draw against Trabzonspor still counts as progress. It's Benedyczak's 55th-minute finish, low and precise, that you will want to rewatch.
