Mombasa Elite 2–1 Kariobangi Sharks

Mombasa Elite ground out a narrow 2-1 win over Kariobangi Sharks in the FKF Premier League, a result that will matter more for where it leaves Mombasa Elite than for how it got there. The hosts sit 15th and had yet to register a single win this season going into this one, so breaking that streak against the Sharks counts as a genuine turning point rather than just three routine points. No individual scorer is confirmed from this one, and the league's goal charts stayed untouched too, with Y. Koutiama's nine goals still well clear at the top and none of this match's contributors anywhere near that list. What's clear from the numbers is the context: a side with zero wins and zero points finding a way to edge a Premier League rival. Details on exactly how those two goals went in, the buildup, the decisive moments, the goalkeeper's night, are all there waiting on the pitch. Press play on the highlights to see how Mombasa Elite finally got off the mark against Kariobangi Sharks.
