Persepam Madura Utd 1–0 Persib Bandung

Persepam Madura Utd left it agonisingly late, but they got there. D. Mitkov settled this Liga 1 clash in the 89th minute, snatching all three points for the hosts against Persib Bandung just as the game looked destined for a draw. The timing mattered: both sides sat level on 10 points, Persepam sixth and Persib seventh, with near-identical form lines coming in, so a single goal was always going to swing the table. It also rewrites a lopsided rivalry, Persepam had lost both of their last two meetings with Persib without scoring, making this their first real answer to that run. Lost in the late drama is a name worth watching, league top scorer D. da Silva still leads the race with 21 goals, but he had no say in this one. Mitkov did instead, timing his finish perfectly to spare Persepam from throwing away a result they'd defended for the better part of 90 minutes. Replay the winning strike and the chaos that followed in the 89th minute, it's the kind of goal that decides where points land at the bottom half of the Liga 1 table.
