Colorado Springs 0–0 New Mexico United

Colorado Springs and New Mexico United played to a stalemate that neither side could break, and for two teams sitting third and second in the USL Championship table, that stands out. Colorado Springs, unbeaten in four of their last five and riding a three-game winning run, controlled long stretches without finding the breakthrough. New Mexico United arrived with more points on the board, 43 to Colorado Springs' 38, but their recent form told a shakier story, just one win from their last five outings, and this draw only adds to that pattern. P. Goodrum still leads the USL Championship scoring charts with six goals, but nobody in this match troubled the register. It was the kind of 0-0 that rewards patience rather than fireworks, chances built and snuffed out at both ends. Watch the highlights to see how close both goalkeepers came to being beaten.
