Match Recap
B. Petrovic had other ideas. With Krasava Ypsonas having leveled through S. Tabekou in the 71st minute to cancel out V. De Marco's fourth-minute opener, this 1. Division contest looked destined for a share of the points, until Petrovic struck in the 89th minute to hand Omonia Aradippou a 2-1 victory. The win moves Omonia Aradippou to four points from two games, their form reading WD coming in, while Krasava Ypsonas remain winless at the foot of the table with back-to-back losses and zero points. History offered little comfort for the visitors either: Omonia Aradippou are unbeaten in their last two head-to-head meetings, winning one and drawing the other. This was a match that had resignation written all over it at 1-1, then Petrovic found the net with barely a minute to spare. Watch the build-up to that 89th-minute moment and see exactly how he refused to let it slip.
