Match Recap
Bosnia & Herzegovina came to Bucharest and blitzed Romania in a six-goal shootout, going 3-0 up inside 40 minutes before the hosts had a real say. Armin Gigovic opened the scoring in the 12th minute, Tarik Muharemovic doubled it seven minutes later, and Haris Tabaković made it three just before the break. Daniel Birligea pulled one back for Romania in the 28th, and Alexandru Cicâldău added a second in the 62nd, but Ermin Mahmić restored the two-goal cushion and sealed a 4-2 win. The result flips this UEFA Nations League head-to-head, with Bosnia avenging their only previous meeting, a loss to Romania. It also reshuffles the early standings: Bosnia sit second with a point after a draw, while Romania start with a loss, no points and bottom-half rank. Four different scorers, five goals inside the first hour and a Bosnia side that never let Romania settle, this one has box office written all over it. Watch every strike, from Gigovic's early opener to Mahmić's decisive 55th-minute finish, in the highlights below.
