Safa Baku 0–3 Sabah FA

Sabah FA didn't just win at Safa Baku, they buried them inside 30 minutes. O. Mbina broke it open in the 25th, and five minutes later A. Khaybulaev doubled it, leaving Safa Baku chasing a game that was already gone. V. Simic put the finishing touch on the 3-0 rout in the 69th, his 10th of the season, enough to keep him among the Premyer Liqa's top ten scorers behind leader J. Mickels' 18. The gulf in form told the story before kickoff: Sabah FA rode a three-game winning streak into this one, sitting fourth on 9 points from three matches, while Safa Baku arrived on the back of back-to-back-to-back defeats, mired in tenth with just one win in four. Nothing about the way this played out suggests that gap closes soon. Three different scorers, three different minutes, zero reply from the home side, this was as complete a beatdown as the Premyer Liqa has produced this season. Watch how Simic's strike in the 69th sealed the demolition.
