Match Recap
Ağrı 1970 did the job early in Niğde and never looked back, striking twice inside the first 38 minutes to seal a 2-0 win over Niğde Belediyesispor in the Türkiye Kupası. H. Ikiz opened the scoring in the 20th minute, poking his side ahead before the hosts could settle, and S. Gurses doubled the lead in the 38th to turn a nervy start into total control. Niğde Belediyesispor spent the rest of the night chasing a game that had already slipped away, unable to find an answer against a visiting side content to sit on its cushion. Neither scorer features among the league's top ten this season, where M. Diarra's 26 goals still top the charts, but on this evening it was Ağrı 1970's efficiency, not star power, that decided things. Two goals, 18 minutes apart, and a cup tie that was effectively over before half-time. Catch both strikes, Ikiz's opener and Gurses' decisive follow-up, in the highlights below.
