Match Recap
Prince-Osei Owusu delivered the knockout blow twice in three minutes, turning a tight contest into a comfortable night for CF Montreal as they beat FC Cincinnati 3-1 in Major League Soccer. Daniel Rios had given the home side an early lead in the 25th minute, and Tom Barlow pulled one back for Cincinnati just after the hour, but Owusu answered instantly, striking in the 72nd and 75th minutes to seal it. The win snapped an ugly run for Montreal, who arrived on five straight losses and had lost all three of their previous meetings with Cincinnati without a single win or draw. Cincinnati, sitting ninth with 33 points, have their own form problems, without a victory in their last five. None of that mattered once Owusu got going. Watch how quickly he turns a 2-1 nail-biter into a rout, both goals inside a five-minute burst that Cincinnati never recovered from.
