Match Recap
Alexander Isak got Sweden moving inside twenty minutes, and this one never really slipped away from the hosts even when Romania hit back through Dennis Man. Man's 29th-minute finish cut the gap to a single goal and briefly had Sweden rattled, but Viktor Gyökeres answered right on the stroke of half-time, restoring the cushion and taking the sting out of Romania's response for good. Sweden closed it out 2-1, a result that keeps them top of their UEFA Nations League group while Romania slip to third. All three goals arrived inside the first half, Isak's opener setting the tone, Man's leveler raising the stakes, and Gyökeres's finish deciding it before the break. Watch how Sweden's front two, Isak and Gyökeres, combined to turn a nervy scoreline back in their favor with a goal at either end of Man's equalizer.
