Match Recap
Le Mans and Stade Brestois 29 traded punches across a breathless hour of Ligue 1 football, finishing 2-2 in a match that swung twice and settled nothing. Brest's R. Del Castillo, one of the division's sharpest finishers with 12 goals this season and a spot in the top ten scorers in Ligue 1, put the visitors ahead on 31 minutes. Le Mans hit back almost immediately before the break, D. Gueye levelling in the second minute of first-half stoppage time to send the sides in level. L. Mafouta gave the hosts the lead for the first time on 55 minutes, only for K. Doumbia to cancel it out seven minutes later and earn Brest a share of the spoils. Both clubs open their Ligue 1 accounts with a single point apiece. Del Castillo's equaliser and Gueye's last-gasp first-half strike are the moments you need to see.
