Match Recap
Hulk delivered a brace and a statement performance as Fluminense ran riot at Corinthians, turning a nervy afternoon into a 3-1 rout in Serie A. He opened the scoring in the 24th minute, and although Gustavo Henrique dragged Corinthians level early in the second half, Hulk restored the lead at 76' before Kevin Serna sealed it deep into stoppage time. The result stretches Corinthians' losing run to five straight matches, leaving them 14th with just 32 points and zero wins in their last five, while Fluminense's win-draw-win streak lifts them to fifth on 45. It also flips the head-to-head ledger between these two, with Fluminense now level on wins in their recent meetings. Kaio Jorge still tops Serie A's scoring charts, but Hulk's night at Corinthians was the one that mattered here. Watch both of his goals, plus Serna's stoppage-time finish that put the game away, in the highlights below.
