Match Recap
Fredrikstad's four-game winning run came to an end in derby fashion, halted by a Sarpsborg 08 FF side desperate to stop a slide of their own. Max Nilsson put the hosts ahead in the 19th minute, only for Olaus Jair Skarsem to reply for the visitors nine minutes later, and the first-half exchange was all either team could manage. Fredrikstad had won four of their last five to reach 26 points in the Eliteserien, but they were unable to add a fifth straight victory against the one side who had beaten them in their only recent head-to-head meeting. Sarpsborg, still winless in their last five and without a victory among three draws and two defeats, take a point that at least stops the rot. Watch how Skarsem reacts in that 28th minute to kill the home side's momentum stone dead.
