Guastatoya 1–2 Marquense

Marquense ended three attempts without a win against Guastatoya with their most complete away performance yet, turning a Liga Nacional deficit into a 2-1 victory at El Trébol. V. Avalos, third in the Liga Nacional scoring charts with 12 goals, put the hosts ahead in the 11th minute and looked set to add to a head-to-head record that had given Guastatoya two wins and a draw from their previous three meetings. E. Velasquez had other ideas, leveling just five minutes later to change the entire shape of the match. For more than fifty minutes it stayed delicately poised, until D. Grande settled it in the 69th with the goal that finally broke Guastatoya's unbeaten run against this opponent. Avalos gave everything to keep his side in it, but the day belonged to a Marquense side that absorbed early pressure and punched back twice.
