St. Truiden 0–2 KVC Westerlo

St. Truiden's run without a home win stretches on after a lively KVC Westerlo hit two in the first half of a Jupiler Pro League double, ending 0-2. Norman Bassette broke the deadlock in the 36th minute, and Cisse Sandra doubled it just a minute into the second half, effectively settling the contest before St. Truiden could find an answer. Westerlo climb to seventh points with the win despite sitting just outside the top ten themselves, while St. Truiden slip to fifth in the standings picture with the loss denting their mixed recent form. The head-to-head history actually favored the hosts coming in, with St. Truiden having won their only previous meeting, but that counted for nothing on the night. Neither side has a player among the league's current scoring elite, led by N. Tresoldi's 18 goals, but Bassette and Sandra made sure Westerlo didn't need one. Watch how Sandra pounces barely sixty seconds after the restart to turn a promising St. Truiden position into damage control.
