Match Recap
Six goals, one lopsided first half, and a dramatic final-minute twist defined this Serie A clash. RB Bragantino tore into Cruzeiro early, with Lucas Henrique Barbosa opening the scoring in the 13th minute before Kaio Jorge, the league's top scorer with 25 goals, doubled the lead seven minutes later. Eric Ramires made it three by the half-hour mark, putting Bragantino firmly in control. Cruzeiro clawed back through Zé Lucas before the break and Matheus Henrique late on, but it wasn't enough. Jose Herrera sealed the 4-2 win with a goal in the first minute of stoppage time, capping off the goal fest. The result continues a rough patch for Bragantino, who sit 11th with just 37 points and no wins in their last five, while Cruzeiro's push for sixth takes a hit despite the late rally. It's also a result Bragantino will savor given Cruzeiro had won both of their last meetings. Watch Herrera's stoppage-time strike and Kaio Jorge's clinical finish in the highlights below.
