Niger Tornadoes 1–1 Plateau United

Niger Tornadoes looked set to extend their wait for a first point against Plateau United when J. Ibrahim's stoppage-time header just before half-time put the visitors ahead in this NPFL contest. M. Bashir had other ideas. The Niger Tornadoes forward found the net in the 85th minute to rescue a share of the spoils, turning what looked like another defeat against this opponent into something far more valuable. Tornadoes had lost their only previous meeting with Plateau United, so Bashir's late intervention carried genuine weight. The draw leaves both sides level on three points from two games, with Niger Tornadoes and Plateau United each locked in 1-1 records to start the NPFL campaign. Two teams, same points, same restless hunger for a win. Bashir's 85th-minute finish, right when the game appeared gone, is the kind of moment you need to see for yourself.
