Match Recap
André Clóvis put the game away almost before Estrela could settle, striking twice inside the opening 24 minutes to hand Academico Viseu a 2-0 win in Primeira Liga. Both goals carried his fingerprints and little else was needed after that; Estrela never found an answer at home. The result flips the form book for this round: Estrela arrived in sixth on 10 points with a DWDWD run, while Viseu sat ninth on eight after a shakier WWLDL stretch, but Clóvis's double was enough to settle it regardless of the table. Neither side is anywhere near L. Suárez's 27-goal pace at the top of the scoring charts, and Clóvis himself isn't in that top-ten conversation yet, but this was still the kind of individual performance that decides a match on its own. Estrela's players and fans will want to see exactly how their defense unraveled twice in the same quarter-hour. Watch both André Clóvis strikes, 10th and 24th minute, in the highlights below.
