Match Recap
Enric Gallego did it all by himself. His double, one just before the half-hour mark and another on 74 minutes, sent Tenerife past Leganes 2-0 in Segunda División and moved him level with the league's top scorer on four goals for the season. Tenerife came in on the back of two straight wins, and this result stretches that run to three, though they still sit 14th with work to do in the table. Leganes arrived in better form on paper, sitting ninth with a WDWD stretch of results, but couldn't find an answer to Gallego, who now looks like the division's sharpest finisher. Two different types of goals, two different moments in the game, one man delivering both. Tenerife's defense held firm throughout, giving Leganes nothing to build on after going behind. Watch how Gallego finds space for the opener, then how he times his run for the second to put the game away for good.
