Match Recap
America de Cali needed just eleven minutes to put this one away. Yeison Guzman, the league's top scorer with 19 goals, opened the scoring in the 5th minute, and Luis Quinones doubled the lead moments later in the 11th, leaving Cucuta chasing the game almost from kickoff. Daniel Perez pulled one back for Cucuta just before the break, but it only delayed the inevitable. Jhon Lucumi sealed it deep into stoppage time, finishing 3-1 in America de Cali's favor and avenging their only previous meeting, a loss. The result lifts America de Cali to fourth in Primera A on 33 points, while Cucuta slide to 19th despite arriving on a four-game winning run that finally snapped here. Guzman's early strike was his latest step toward the Golden Boot, and it's the kind of finish that explains why he's running away with the race. Watch how he turns a half-chance into a fifth-minute opener, then catch Lucumi's stoppage-time dagger that puts the final gloss on America de Cali's rout.</div>
