Match Recap
Sabadell put on a scoring clinic at home, cracking Oviedo open with four goals in a wild Segunda División afternoon. Gastón Valles Velázquez got things moving in the 23rd minute, and Óscar Sanz doubled the lead right before the break to send Sabadell into halftime firmly in control. Oviedo clawed one back through Alberto Reina in the 67th minute, briefly threatening a comeback, but Ángel Baena slammed the door shut in the 78th to make it 3-1. Both sides came in level on 8 points from five games, with Oviedo actually sitting higher in the table at 9th to Sabadell's 13th, and near-identical recent form, so this result carries real weight in the standings shake-up. Sabadell's attack did the talking, spreading the damage across three different scorers rather than leaning on one man. With the league's usual firepower coming from elsewhere, this was a statement from a team that isn't supposed to be scoring four. Watch how Baena's 78th-minute strike snuffed out Oviedo's fightback right when it mattered most.
