Match Recap
Kasimpasa held Istanbul Basaksehir to a 1-1 draw in the Süper Lig, ending a run that had seen Basaksehir win both of their recent meetings with the visitors. Eldor Shomurodov was the standout name on the scoresheet, the striker now sitting second in the league's top-scorer charts with 16 goals, just one behind leader Victor Osimhen. Fousseni Diabate also found the net for the away side in the 81st minute, ensuring Kasimpasa left with a point. The result keeps Kasimpasa's unbeaten start intact, sitting seventh with four points from two games, while Basaksehir remain 12th on three after one win and one loss from their opening pair. Despite their clean record in this fixture, Basaksehir could not turn home advantage into three points. Shomurodov opened the scoring in the 18th minute, and watching the Süper Lig's second-highest scorer put one past Basaksehir is reason enough to hit play.
