Mixco 4–2 Guastatoya

Six goals, a first-half blitz, a Guastatoya fightback that nearly worked, and a 90th-minute kill shot — Mixco served up everything in a 4-2 Liga Nacional win that finally ended their losing run against this opponent. N. Martinez, the league's top scorer with 21 goals, opened things up in the 23rd minute, and L. Garcia added a second just two minutes later before Y. Pozuelos made it 3-0 before the break. Guastatoya, who had won two of the last three meetings with Mixco, refused to fold: V. Avalos (56th) and A. Contreras (59th) hauled it back to 3-2 inside three minutes and suddenly the home side were hanging on. They didn't hang on long. J. Bolanos stepped up in the dying seconds to put four past Guastatoya and settle it — the three points and, more importantly, the bragging rights belong to Mixco. Watch how Bolanos buried it with the clock at 90.
