Ogre United 1–2 BFC Daugavpils

Amadou Traore made sure Ogre United's night ended in frustration, scoring both of BFC Daugavpils's goals to seal a 2-1 win in the Virsliga. He struck first in the 23rd minute, only for J. Fokam to pull Ogre United level eight minutes later with a finish that briefly threatened an upset. Traore had the last word in the 58th, restoring Daugavpils's lead for good. It's a familiar story for Ogre United, who had already lost their last three meetings with Daugavpils and have now gone four without a win against them, a pattern their home form of one win in five games does little to break. Daugavpils, fifth in the table on 39 points despite a shaky recent run of draws and defeats, remain well clear of tenth-placed Ogre United, who sit on just 18. Traore's double won't trouble league top scorer M. Badamosi's 21 for the season, but it was more than enough here. Watch both of his strikes, and Fokam's leveler, in the highlights below.
