Difaa EL Jadida 0–2 Wydad AC

Wydad AC made light work of Difaa EL Jadida, riding goals from O. Zemraoui and S. Ganvoula to a 2-0 win in the Botola Pro. Zemraoui broke the deadlock in the 27th minute, and Ganvoula doubled the lead early in the second half, in the 59th, to put the result beyond doubt. Neither side arrives with momentum: both sit winless with zero points from their opening fixture, Difaa EL Jadida at 16th and Wydad AC just above them at 14th, so this was as much about avoiding an early slide as it was about bragging rights. The head-to-head leaned Difaa EL Jadida's way coming in, with one win and one draw in their last two meetings, making this Wydad AC's answer. Neither scorer features among the league's top ten, where S. Benjdida still leads the charts with 14 goals, but Ganvoula's second-half strike is the one worth rewinding, a clean finish that turned a nervy lead into daylight. Watch both goals land, minute by minute, in the highlights below.
