Match Recap
B. Faraas put the game to bed and then came back for more. Fredrikstad arrived at Lillestrom having won three of their last five Eliteserien fixtures, and they played like a side with momentum from the opening whistle, S. Owusu and M. Nilsson rattling in goals in the 8th and 18th minutes to silence the home crowd early. F. Gulbrandsen pulled one back for Lillestrom just before the break, but any hopes of a comeback died in the second half as Faraas struck in the 65th and 79th minutes to seal a comprehensive 4-1 away win. Fredrikstad have now beaten Lillestrom in this calendar-year meeting, flipping what had been a losing head-to-head record, and they do it with a performance that was never really in doubt after the first twenty minutes. Faraas's second, tucked away in the 79th, is the one to watch.
