Match Recap
Atalanta had lost both of their recent Serie A meetings with Sassuolo, but that run ended here. G. Raspadori gave the home side the lead inside six minutes, and for the best part of an hour Atalanta looked in control. C. Odenthal changed the picture on 55 minutes, pulling Sassuolo level and turning a routine afternoon into something edgier. The answer came quickly. N. Krstovic put Atalanta back in front on 65 minutes, and this time there was no way back for Sassuolo, handing the hosts a 2-1 Serie A win and their first victory over this opponent in their last three meetings. Lautaro Martínez still leads the Serie A scoring charts with 14 goals, but the night belonged to Krstovic. Watch the highlights to see the finish that broke Sassuolo's resistance.
