Finland U17 1–0 France U17

Finland U17 got the job done against France U17, closing out a narrow 1-0 win in a Friendlies meeting between two of Europe's next generations. It's a tidy finish to a game where the smallest of margins decided everything, and the Finns held their nerve to make it count until the final whistle. It's now a perfect record for Finland U17 against this French side in their only meeting on record, a small statement to carry into future youth fixtures. None of the afternoon belonged to the league's outright top scorer, M. Osmajić, who sits on five goals but had no hand in this one, played out at a much quieter level. Results like this rarely make headlines, but a 1-0 win built on discipline and one moment of composure is exactly the kind worth watching play out.
