Match Recap
Lyle Taylor did the damage twice as Montserrat put British Virgin Islands to the sword in this CONCACAF Nations League clash, turning a tight game into a rout inside thirteen second-half minutes. Brandon Barzey broke the deadlock in the 58th minute, and once that goal went in the floodgates opened. Taylor struck in the 67th and again in the 71st, a quickfire double that took him to two goals on the day and confirmed why he sits seventh among the league's scorers with two strikes this season. British Virgin Islands never found an answer, and by full time the 3-0 scoreline told the story of a one-sided demolition rather than a contest. For Montserrat, it's the kind of result that shows what this squad can do when the finishing clicks, and for Taylor personally, it's a night that adds real weight to his case as one of the competition's most dangerous forwards. Watch how Barzey springs the opener before Taylor takes over, turning a nervy 1-0 into a statement scoreline in the highlights below.
