Match Recap
Borussia Mönchengladbach needed a point badly, and they got one by shutting out SC Paderborn 07 for the full ninety minutes in a goalless Bundesliga draw. Gladbach sit bottom of the pile in 18th with just three points and a miserable WLLLL run of form over their last five league outings, so even a stalemate counts as progress after only one win all season. Paderborn, by contrast, arrive in better shape, 13th with eight points and a WDLWL stretch that has kept them mid-table, but they leave Gladbach without the win that would have pushed them higher still. Neither side could find the breakthrough that tends to define nights like this, and across ninety minutes it turned into a battle of nerve rather than finishing. Watch the highlights to see exactly how Mönchengladbach's defense held firm from start to finish and salvaged a point from a game that threatened to slip away.
