Veraguas 2–1 Tauro FC

Veraguas ground out a 2-1 win over Tauro FC in the Liga Panameña de Fútbol, a result that tightens the table in their favor. Veraguas sit fourth on 25 points with three wins from five, riding a WDWWL stretch that shows a team finding its footing, while Tauro slip to sixth on 21 points after a rough LLDWL run that this defeat only deepens. The two sides have only met once recently, a draw, so this result tips the early head-to-head Veraguas's way for the first time. Neither lineup features R. Dinolis, the league's top scorer with 16 goals, which makes the two goals Veraguas managed on their own merit all the more telling for a side climbing the standings. There's no flashy hat-trick or late drama logged here, just a away, that's exactly why it's worth watching: the two goals that swung it and the response Tauro never quite found. Catch both strikes and every attacking sequence from Veraguas's statement win in the highlights below.
