Match Recap
B. White put on a clinic of clinical finishing, scoring twice inside 14 first-half minutes as Vancouver Whitecaps dismantled FC Dallas 5-0 and turned BC Place into a shooting gallery on Sunday in Major League Soccer. E. Sabbi got the Whitecaps moving on 11 minutes, then White struck at 23 and again at 37 to drain all life from Dallas well before the break. E. Ocampo piled on with a stoppage-time finish in first-half injury time, and B. Caicedo capped the afternoon on 68. White, sitting seventh in the MLS scoring charts with 25 goals, is now the most dangerous player on a Whitecaps side that sits first in the league on 40 points. Vancouver also made their head-to-head record over Dallas count, extending it to three wins or draws across their last four meetings. White's second goal, buried on 37 minutes to make it three, is the kind of strike that belongs on a screen.
