Match Recap
FC Eindhoven had lost four of their last five before kickoff, but Rayan Buifrahi cracked the deadlock in the 39th minute and the hosts never looked back in this Eerste Divisie clash with Emmen. Kevin van Veen restored a two-goal cushion six minutes after Jack Cooper Love had pulled one back for the visitors, and Antonio Bazdaric put the game to bed deep into stoppage time. It's a result that bucks the form book: Emmen arrived in fifth on 12 points off three wins, while Eindhoven sat 14th having managed just a single win in five outings. History was on the hosts' side too, having won their only previous meeting with Emmen. Neither side has a scorer among the league's top ten, where D. Zandbergen still leads the way, but this was about grit over gloss for Eindhoven. Bazdaric's 90+3 strike sealed a statement 3-1 win that should worry anyone chasing them in the table. Watch how he found the net in the dying seconds to put the result beyond doubt.
