Match Recap
Enugu Rangers needed a second-half response after Nasarawa United's S. Dapma put the visitors ahead in the 39th minute, and they found it almost immediately. C. Iwundu leveled just two minutes later, then D. Itodo turned it into a comeback win with the decisive goal in the 84th, sealing a 2-1 victory in this NPFL clash. It's the first competitive win of the season for Enugu Rangers, who sit 16th after collecting just a single point before this, while Nasarawa United drop to 13th despite arriving with a win already on the board. History was on the home side's part too, Rangers having beaten this opponent in their only previous meeting. Iwundu's goal carries extra weight, it puts him among the league's top ten scorers, just shy of leader V. Mbaoma's tally. A goal conceded, a goal answered inside two minutes, then a late strike to finish the job, watch how Rangers flipped this one in the space of five second-half minutes.
